Join us at 7:00 TONIGHT, for our monthly neighborhood meeting at Merritt Memorial United Methodist Church (2246 Irving Street).

Come, listen, learn, speak up and speak out on issues impacting our community

REMINDER: From 6:30-7:00 pm, (just before the general meeting), Police District One VIP (volunteer in policing) Mary Hashem will serve as the police liaison and be available to meet with residents individually to address your specific crime and safety concerns.

AGENDA (7:00-8:30 pm)

  • Welcome and introductions
  • CART Program – This year, the City of Denver will be converting dumpsters to individual black trash carts in parts of the West Colfax and Sloan’s Lake neighborhoods. Charlotte Pitts joins us from the City of Denver to discuss the CART program and answer any questions you many have.
  • A Little Help – Martha Eubanks and Pat Defa will introduce the “A Little Help” program and promote their picnic later this month. This is a great non-profit that is looking for volunteers and members to help grow the Northwest Denver group.
