TONIGHT: Re-imagine West Colfax Workshop

Tonight at 6:00 pm join the West Colfax BID at 4500 W. Colfax Avenue for the first meeting to plan the location and a layout for the one day demonstration project to Re-imagine West Colfax! Participants will begin to work on the designs for the block of West Colfax between Tennyson and Utica, as shown below, with side street bike lanes.

This layout was developed in the second phase of the project, a highly successful one-day technical workshop with volunteers from Alta Planning, Wilson & Company, Toole Design, HDR, Denver Public Works, CDOT and RTD. It reflects the concerns and preferences of businesses and residents from phase one, two sessions on June 11th. Biggest ideas include improvements to a pedestrian crossing at Utica, bike lanes on 14th and Tennyson, planted bulbouts, parklets, pop-up retail, and expanded sidewalk near the new Little Man Ice Cream, public art, and more!

Tonight’s meeting is your opportunity to help to refine and implement the August 16th test run of this design, not to mention create fun celebration!

Join the West Colfax BID on these dates to learn more about the design and plan the event in August:

See you there!
